Hello there,
Summer is knocking on the door, so I came up with this cute daisy design, and funky citrus colours. Try it out yourself, it can be done with all the colours of the rainbow, so you don't have to have the same ones as I am using. :-)

LUSH! I just can't get enough
So, I had decided no more LUSH in a while, but I have to admit that I am a weak weak person when it comes to online shopping, and LUSH is just so addictive. In this video I claim it will be the last haul in a while.. But I have another order coming in the mail already. Oh well, I guess there are worse things one could get addicted to. :-)
Enjoy the video, reviews and stuff is coming up. Have a great day! :-)

Favorite foundations for fair skin
Hi everyone,
If you are as pale as I am, you will know how difficult it can be to find the right shade of foundation. Everything just seem to be too dark! I have typical nordic skin, and have tried A LOT of foundations. I thought I would share with you, good foundations that I have found actually match a fair skinned person. Ofcourse you always need to match a foundation excatcly to your skintone, but I hope this gives you inspiration!

Tutorial: Three ways to fill in your eyebrows
Hi everyone.
Today I am going to show you how to fill in your eyebrows, and actually give you the option to try three different ways to find out which suits you best. The most important thing is to keep it natural- I hate to break it to you girls, the look below is a no-no. Shaved brows with a pinstriped line is not where you want to go.

Instead, create a natural brow without going too thin. Always pluck underneath the eyebrow! Create an arch with the highest point being above the outer corner of your iris.
Anyway, I hope you enjoy the tutorial on how to fill in your brows. :-)
LUSH soap review
Here's a review of the soaps I have tried so far from LUSH, more videos and stuff is coming up! Hope you like LUSh as much as me, I really like the whole company policy with organic ingredients and fair trade buying.
The soaps featured in the review: Honey I washed the kids, Lemslip, Ring of roses, Rockstar.

Gradient Pink ---> Red nails with glitter
This is such a cool look! It's really different, the glitter is ofcourse optional but if you're going out this will really make any outfit pop. Also, you can use any colours you want- The most important thing is to have three shades that go from light to dark in the same colour.
Here's what I used: OPI base and topcoat, babypink nail polish, hot pink nailpolish, dark red nailpolish, glitter nail polish with different size glitter in it, a make up sponge.
Here's what I used: OPI base and topcoat, babypink nail polish, hot pink nailpolish, dark red nailpolish, glitter nail polish with different size glitter in it, a make up sponge.
Lets get started: Apply basecoat and let dry. Make a few drops of the babypink nail polish on a work sheet, dip in the tip of the sponge and apply to the nails concentrating on the bottom of the nail. Then do the same thing with the hot pink, but concentate on the middle part of the nail, make sure you blend it will into the baby pink to create that gradient effect. Do the same with the red nail polish, but concentrate it on the tip of the nail. If you get a harsh line between the colours, apply the lightest colour slighty over the darker. When you get a good result, let it dry and apply the glitter nail polish on the whole nail. Lastly, apply the topcoat and you're done! :-)

LUSH review
Hi everyone,
I have started using the LUSH products I recently got in the mail. This is the first mini-review of the Dream Cream and the H'suan Wen Hua hairtreatment. I have enver smelled anything worse than that hairtreatment, it literally makes me gag everytime I have smelled it- Needless to say, I only used it once before it hit the garbagebin. No matter how good a thing is, if I can't take the smell I can't use it. and actually, I didn't find it all that fantastic anyway.
The dream cream is actually growing on me, I've used for about a week now and I LOVE the way it makes my skin feel. So soft and hydrated, still I don't like the smell very much. Anyway, check out the video ;)

Cute summer nails
Hi everyone,
This is a really simple yet cute look for spring/summer- everyone can do it!
What you need: A good base and top coat (I use OPI's). White nail polish, purple nail polish, pink nail polish (of course you can use the colours you wish for the flower), a toothpick or dotting tool.
Lets get started: Apply the base coat, let dry. Apply two coats of the white nail polish, let dry. Cut the toothpicks sharp end off, dip it in the purple nail polish (a good idea to make a few drops on an old magazine or a piece of plastic for better control), make five dots in a circle to create the flower. Finally, put a pink dot in the middle. Lastly, apply topcoat and your'e done!

My favorites: Clarins Wonder Perfect Mascara
Hey everyone.
I believe mascara is the most important part of any make up routine. Without it my lashes look really thin and uninteresting but they magically transform when the brush of a good mascara hits them. I recently discovered this Clarins mascara and want to share it with you. Check out the video!

LUSH haul
I remember going to London many years ago, and going to the LUSH store in Covent Garden. I found it so interesting, the smell of all the different things overpowered me and the beauty of the products was amazing. Anyway, I think I only got a few things back then, and I have not bought any since (I probably would have if there was a store where i live). I watched a couple of videos on Youtube recently, with girls being all excited about LUSH and decided to re-discover this great brand again.
I ordered from the UK LUSH website, it is much more inexpensive than the scandinavian sites, my package arrived in about a weeks time. Check out my video about it and stay tuned for reviews and all that good stuff!
Oh- And here's a link to LUSH if you get inspired! http://www.lush.co.uk/

Pink and black lace nail tutorial
I recently discovered the fun of nail designs and after watching about a million nail tutorials on Youtube I decided to try out some designs of my own.
Here's a really fun look, I did it with hot pink and a silver black, but you can do the design with about any colours you like. For example, white and pastel pink would look cute for summer. You get the idea! I didn't take pictures of the steps which I should have done, but I will try to explain it as simply as possible.
Here's what you need: A good base coat, hot pink and black nail polish, a good top coat (I use OPI base and topcoat) and a toothpick!
Let's get started:
Paint your nails with the base coat and let dry, then the pink, let dry. Paint the tip of your nails in the black colour and let dry.
Take your black nail polish and put a few drops on a piece of paper og plastic. Dip your toothpick in it and start drawing the small arches along the black tip, so it resembles lace. If your toothpick is very pointy, you kan clip off the very end of it. Finish off with small dots underneath the lacedesign. Let dry and apply your top coat. Voila! Your'e done! :-)

My favorites: Stila Kajal Eyeliners
I have been recommended these eyeliners for ages, and I finally got around to buying them just now. I got the colours "Sapphire" and "Onyx". Sapphire is a dark navy blue colour which really suits my brown eyes and make them stand out. Onyx is a pitch black, and I have to say much more black than any eyeliner I have had before. The formula is nice and soft, I have pretty sensitive eyes so that is a big plus. Also, they hold up really well, even on your waterline. I got my Stila eyeliners at http://www.beautybay.com/, which is a UK wesite. Since us from europe have to pay a really big tax phee when importing something from the states, I was really excited to come across this website. It really has a lot of cool products, so check it out!
I am going to link a make up look by Tiffany D, using the Sapphire Kajal. I love this navy look she came up with, way to go Tiff! :-)

Review: Helena Rubinstein Feline Blacks Liner
So, I needed a new liquid liner and thought- Why not try something new. I went to my local beautystore and the guy there recommended this particular one, Helena Rubinsteins Feline Black Liner, which comes from a whole range of "Feline" makeup products. All of them are characterized by a gold/black leopard print design. I am a big fan of Helena Rubinsteins lipglosses so I was optimistic. However I am not very impressed by this. It comes with almost like a pencil-type sponge applicator as you can see in the picture. I find it a bit hard to get a fine line with it, and if the product hits the eyelashes it kind of makes them dry and makes your mascara clump when you apply that afterwards. However, it does stay on the skin quite well, also when you wing it out. As you can tell I am a bit sceptical about this liner. I find you can get other products like the L'Oreal Carbon Black Liner Intense, which in my oppinion is far better. Let me know what you guys think :-)
My favorites: Olay Regenerist day and night cream
I have been using these products for about 3 months now, and I'm in love. <3
Generally I really like the Olay products, because they are of great quality without the price of say Clarins or Origins products.
The new Olay Regenerist line with a concentrated amino-peptide substance promises to keep your skin youthful and beautifully silky smooth, also deminishing fine lines. The line has quite a lot of skin care products, including the "star product"' Daily 3 Point Treatment Cream, which I think really lives up to the praise it has gotten. Both the 3 point treatment cream, and the night cream is very easily applied to the skin, and absorbes quickly leaving your skin very hydrated without feeling oily. I have especially fallen in love with the nightcream, because I really feel like it makes a difference to the skin overnight. When I wake up it just feels so smooth. I have normal skin with a tendency to
dryness, so I really don't know if it would work for more oily skintypes- but if you have oily skin and have tried the products, please leave a comment if it works for you :-) A cool thing is also the colour of the nightcream, purple- My favorite!
I have only tried the 3 point 1 treatment cream and the regenerist all night recovery cream, but I definetly will explore the other products in this line as well! Here is the link to Olays website, where you can find more info about the products.

My favorites: Clarins Instant Smooth Crystal Lip Balms
Clarins launched the lipbalms in summer 2010 and I simply LOVE them. They come in 3 shades, Crystal, Crystal Coral and Crystal Red. The really cool thing when you first look at these lipbalms, is that they in fact are crystal clear, they almost look like lollipops. They have areally nice smell and feels like a lipbalm in texture. The crystal pink colour matches your natural lipcolour, while the coral and red gives great colour without feeling like lipstick, which can somtimes feel dry on the lips. Even though the coral is bright orange looking, it actually gives off a beautiful red'ish tone to your lips. The red obviosly gives off the most vibrant colour. I can't praise these things enough! :-) Since they are a part of a summer collection they might be a little hard to get a hold of, but search the internet and I'm sure you will find an online store that has them.

Review of Costal Scents ultra shimmer 88 eyeshadow palette
I recently purchased this big palette of shimmery colours from Coastal Scents. It is not a brand you can find here in Denmark where I live (I doubt it can be found in stores in Scandinavia at all). I ordered it from http://www.ebay.co.uk/ and was excited because it had gotten great reviews on the internet from others. It offers a great variety of colours, from the more natural looking to the very bold yellows, greens, pinks, blues and purples. The formula itself is unfortunately pretty "dusty", which means that there often is a lot of powder left on your undereye skin when you use it. You have to really flick your brush pretty well if you want to avoid that, or touch up your foundation or concealer afterwards. Otherwise I like it. It also comes in a matte palette, which I am told should be good also.
The price is reasonable, I believe I paid about 26 pounds for it. I would recommend this palette to someone who really doesn't want to buy 10 different palettes to get a lot of vibrant colours. Ofcourse each eyeshadow is really small, so if you have a favorite, it won't last very long.

Spring 2011 makeup trend: Bold lips
Spring 2011 has a lot to offer on the makeup-front. Here are some key looks for lip colour this spring, as well as inspiration for products to achieve the looks.
Here are some of my favorite products to achieve this look, also they are very affordable in price!
Bold lips
As seen in fashion shows by for example Gucci and Fendi, the bold lip colour is very trendy at the moment. Oranges, hot pinks and reds are the colours to go for.
Here are some of my favorite products to achieve this look, also they are very affordable in price!
Rimmel London Colour Show Off
Shade: Shocking pink.
I just bought this lipstick and it is very bold! It is almost red, if you apply a good amount. A good thing about this is the price. Very affordable!
Rimmel London Lasting Finish Lipstik
Shade Temptation 166.
I have had this lipstick for a while and I'm in love with it. It is a deep red and stays on the lips really well.
MAC Neon Orange Lipstick
I have not yet tried this, but it has gotten good reviews. Please comment on your thoughts on this lipstick!
Review of Elizabeth Arden eight hour cream products
So, I have to talk about these products, since they have reached the "essential must-have" list many years ago- in my book at least. I have to say, that there really is truth to what people say. The original eight hour cream is said to have healing effects on rashes, sunburn and ofcourse to sensitive skin. Since then, Elizabeth Arden has expanded the line to numorous other products. I am going to concentrate on 2 products that I simply LOVE from the eight hour cream range.
Eight Hour Cream Lip Protectant Stick SPF15.
This product is a lipbalm that really makes your lips
soft and protects them from the elements. I live in
Scandinavia and this lipbalm is really a musthave in
the wintertime. My lips normally chap very easily in
the cold, but this really stops them from doing that.
All eight hour cream products have a very strange
scent (or smell), that you have to get used to- but
it really works wonders for me. Also, if you live
somewhere sunny, the SPF 15 will protect your lips
from getting sundamage.
Eight hour cream intensive moisurizing hand treatment
I use this hand cream every night when I go to bed. It really
makes the hands very soft and velvety. Again, the smell is not
the best, but if you can live with that it's really worth it. It's very
easy to apply and is absorbed quickly into the skin.
Check out the range of products on Elizabeth Ardens website:
